A Stoke Scheherazade explored the surprising parallels between these two cities. With Sinbad not being available himself to tell the tale, his put-upon assistant took the audience on a guided walk – transporting them from one city to the next, from the past to present, armed with some playful storytelling, a plaintive dulcimer, a ropey old accordion and a handful of delicious, ripe dates – inviting them to experience their local area with new eyes…
